Sarah Elizabeth Moore

Sarah Elizabeth Moore, 22, is a recent graduate of Florida State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science. A St. Petersburg native, Sarah was raised alongside her younger sister, by her mother in the community of Child's Park, located on the Southside of St. Petersburg. 

She is a Lakewood High school Alumna, graduating in the top 10 percent of her class. During her time at Lakewood she served on the Student Government Association and participated in a plethora of extracurricular activities. Her senior year in high school Sarah would be accepted into all 9 schools of her choice and become the first in her family to go off to college. 

Sarah would make her decision and continue her education in Tallahassee after being accepted into FSU's CARE program, where she earned a full academic scholarship. During her time at Florida State, Sarah was involved in a number of community-based organizations, she also served as legislative intern in the State Capitol, and was also given the opportunity to study abroad in London, United Kingdom with FSU's International program.

Sarah's decision to become a candidate for City Council District 7 stems from her burning desire to serve her community. Sarah demands action be taken against the carelessness that her community has had to suffer at the hands of due to poor leadership. She is concerned about future generations and believes that representation from a more younger perspective can help influence the affect of positive  decision making in public policy. 

Sarah is a hardworking, passionate, servant leader. She is committed to earning your vote, being your voice, and preserving and protecting the communities of St. Petersburg. 

Primary elections are to take place August 27, 2019.
